Yesterday I visited Wavendon Castle with my 12yo Sam. We were really looking forward to it – it’s not often you find a previously unheardof castle on your doorstep – but were incredibly disappointed by the state of it.
We need to do something about this and get it into the condition it, and our community, deserve.
I asked the council to help and they are making enquiries.
If that comes to nothing I’d like to get the community involved and renovate it ourselves.
